Research interests
1.Monitoring of CNC machining processbased on multi sensor information fusion.
Intelligent manufacturing is the main direction of manufacturing industry. In order to build intelligent factory and realize intelligent production, it is necessary to realize monitoring of machining process. Through monitoring signals, such as vibration, cutting force, cutting temperature, acoustic emission, etc, in the cutting process, their correlations with the surface roughness, tool wear, chip are analyzed. Furthermore, the features are extracted and the data are fused. The state of process system can be recognized intelligently, and the prediction be realized. The main research contents include: signal preprocessing, feature extraction, data fusion, correlation, decision support, etc.
2.MQL machining
Minimum quantity lubrication(MQL) is more and more usedinstead of traditional pouring process, it canreduce environmental pollution, resource consumption, costs。MQL technology uses slightly degradable lubricating oil to achieve or even better than the effect of a large number oftraditional cutting fluids. The main research contents include: biodegradable cutting fluid, MQL system, boundary lubrication mechanism, cutting mechanism, tool failure, surface quality, etc.
3.Gas shielded arc welding
In the process of gas metal arc welding, the cost of gas protection accounts for about 10% of the welding process cost. Therefore, on the basis of ensuring welding quality, how to reduce the amount of protective gas is of great significance to reduce manufacturing costs and save resources. The main research contents include: gas distribution system, nozzle structure optimization, gas shielded welding mechanism, CFD analysis of protection airflow field, etc.
