1. The discipline overview and research direction(学科概况与研究方向)
江苏大学机械工程学科依托机械工程学院、汽车与交通工程学院和农业工程学院建设,是江苏省高校优势学科、江苏省国家一级重点学科培育建设点。在第四轮学科评估中,机械工程为B+。拥有机械制造及其自动化国家重点(培育)学科、混合动力车辆技术国家地方联合工程研究中心以及12 个省部级工程中心和重点实验室。机械工程学科1994年设立博士后科研流动站并获首批工程硕士授权,2000年获一级学科博士点。机械制造及其自动化学科1981年获首批硕士点,1998年获博士点,是“十一五”国家重点(培育)学科。机械设计及理论(原农业机械设计与制造)学科1981年获首批博士点,1987年获原机械部重点学科,1994年获江苏省重点学科。车辆工程学科1996年获博士点,是全国高校第4个获得该领域博士点的学科。
Relying on the construction of School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Automobile and Transportation Engineering and School of Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University's Mechanical Engineering Discipline is a superior discipline in Jiangsu Province and a national key cultivation discipline for Jiangsu Province. In the fourth round of discipline assessment, mechanical engineering ranks B +. It has national key (cultivation) disciplines in mechanical manufacturing and automation, national and local joint engineering research centers for hybrid vehicle technology, and 12 provincial and ministerial engineering centers and key laboratories. In 1994, the mechanical engineering discipline established a post-doctoral scientific research mobile station and was authorized to award the first batch of engineering masters. The mechanical manufacturing and automation disciplines were awarded the first batch of master's degree programs in 1981 and the doctoral program in 1998. It is a national key (cultivation) discipline during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan". The mechanical design and theory (former agricultural mechanical design and manufacturing) discipline was awarded the first batch of doctoral programs in 1981, the key discipline of the former Ministry of Machinery in 1987, and the key discipline of Jiangsu Province in 1994. The vehicle engineering discipline was awarded the doctoral degree in 1996, and it is the fourth discipline in the country that received the doctoral degree in this field.
机械设计制造及其自动化、车辆工程是国家首批一流本科专业建设点、国家级特色专业和首批教育部“卓越工程师教育培养计划”试点专业,连续两次通过国家工程教育专业认证。机械制造系列课程教学团队是国家级优秀教学团队,面向“长三角”国际制造中心机械专业创新创业人才培养模式实验区是国家级人才培养模式创新实验区,建有国家级实验教学示范中心(工业中心)、国家级车辆工程虚拟仿真实验教学中心,以及江苏大学—一汽锡柴、江苏大学-南汽集团等国家级工程实践教育中心。

3. The length of study and training methods(培养方式及学习年限)
3.1 The length of study (学习年限)
全日制博士研究生的学习年限一般为4年,在职博士生的学习年限一般为5年,最长不超过6年。研究生直接攻读博士学位的学习年限为5至6年,最长为8年。
The length of study for full-time doctoral students is generally four years, and the length of study for part-time doctoral students is generally five years, with a maximum of six years. The length of study for a postgraduate student directly to the PhD is five to six years, with a maximum of eight years.
3.2 Training method(培养方式)
(1)实行导师负责制。导师是研究生培养的第一责任人,对研究生培养的全过程进行全方位针对性指导,全面负责制订研究生培养计划,指导科学研究、教学或者专业实践、学位论文等工作,对研究生的思想品德、学术道德有引导、示范和监督的责任,注重对研究生的人文关怀。鼓励实行导师团队指导。
Implement the supervisor responsibility system. The supervisor is the first person in charge of postgraduate training. He / she provides all-round and targeted guidance for the whole process of postgraduate training. He / she is fully responsible for formulating the postgraduate training plan, guiding scientific research, teaching or professional practice, dissertation and other work. (2)加强培养环节的规范管理、全程监控。完善教学评价检查机制,提高课程教学质量。加强培养过程节点管理,强化学业预警机制,提高教育管理的规范化、信息化、精细化。严格学位论文开题审核、中期检查、论文送审等环节管理,强化论文选题前沿性、论文内容创新性、论文写作规范性。

(3)鼓励博士参加QS 前200 名的世界高校机械工程学科的博士课程的在线课程、Mooc 课程和微课等核心专业学位课与专业选修课,学科可累计学分。互认核心专业学位课不高于3 学分,非学位课程学分不高于4 学分(学分互认细则另附)。
Doctors are encouraged to participate in core professional degree courses and professional elective courses such as online courses, Mooc courses and micro courses of the doctoral courses of the top 200 mechanical engineering disciplines of the world's universities in QS. The courses can accumulate credits. Mutual recognition of core professional degree courses is not higher than 3 credits, and non-degree courses are not higher than 4 credits.

5. Practice credit requirements(实践学分要求)
5.1 Academic activities (no less than 2 credits)(学术活动-不低于2 学分)
博士研究生在学期间应参加20次以上学校组织的国内外知名专家学者的专题讲座、学术报告、研究生论坛等学术研讨活动,参加每次学术活动获得学分0.1分,参加学术研讨活动后须形成完整的学术报告记录,学术报告记录由学科或导师负责考核。
境外参加国际学术会议宣读本人论文并交流发言1 次,出具有效证明材料,获得1学分;
国内参加国际学术会议宣读本人论文并交流发言1 次,出具有效证明材料,获得0.5学分;
全国性高层次学术会议宣读本人论文并交流发言1 次,出具有效证明材料,获得0.3学分。
Doctoral students should participate in more than 20 academic seminars organized by the school, including domestic and foreign well-known experts and scholars, academic reports, graduate forums, etc., 0.1 credits for each. 5.2 Literature reading (2 credits)(文献阅读-2学分)
根据《需阅读的主要经典著作和专业学术期刊目录》和相关研究方向,阅读3本以上的经典名著和50篇以上外文文献,并完成英文文献阅读报告,学位论文开题前须进行考核并记录成绩,不合格者不得进入学位论文开题环节。在英文期刊以第一作者或第二作者(导师为第一作者)公开发表高质量专业学术论文,可视为外文文献阅读环节合格。
Read more than 3 classic works and more than 50 foreign literatures according to the reading guide of mechanical engineering monograph literature, and complete the English literature reading report. Before the commencement of the dissertation, the examination should be conducted and results be recorded. Those who fail to pass the examination shall not enter the commencement of the dissertation. The publication of professional academic papers in English journals as the first author or the second author (the instructor is the first author), and is included in the EI / SCI can be regarded as qualified for the reading of foreign language literature.
5.3 Seminar (no less than 4 credits)(专题研讨-不低于4学分)
研究生在学期间必须在学科范围内公开进行文献研读交流、学术研究进展汇报和专题研讨汇报,博士研究生不得少于4次,其中英文专题研讨至少1 次。专题研讨活动1学分/次,鼓励研究生跨学科研讨,专题研讨由导师审核认定。
During the study, postgraduate students must publicly carry out literature study and exchange, academic research progress report and topic discussion report within the discipline scope. Doctoral students shall not be less than 4 times, including at least 1 English topic discussion. 1 credit per time for special seminar. Postgraduate students are encouraged to conduct interdisciplinary seminar, and the special seminar shall be approved by the supervisor.
5.4 Practice (1 credit)(实践环节-1 学分)
鼓励博士研究生协助导师对硕士研究生授课,原则上每位博士生在学期间授课3-4 节,导师须听课并负责考核。
PhD students are encouraged to assist their tutors in teaching postgraduate students. In principle, each doctoral student teaches 3-4 lessons during the school year. The supervisors shall listen to the lectures and be responsible for the assessment.
5.5 Comprehensive assessment of subjects (2 credits)(博士生学科综合考核-2学分)
学科综合考核是博士生进入学位论文阶段前的一次综合性考核,主要评估博士生的学术道德、理论基础知识和科研能力等,一般在第二学期结束前进行。考核形式包括学科综合水平笔试和专家面试两个环节,由不少于5名专家组成的学科综合面试考核小组进行考核,并确定一名负责人主持面试工作。考核结果分为优秀、合格和暂缓通过三种。暂缓通过的比例不得少于实际考核人数的15%。对于暂缓通过的博士生,可在至少6个月后择期申请另行考核。博士生在学期间共有两次综合考核机会,两次均未通过,则按退学处理。
The subject comprehensive assessment is a comprehensive assessment before doctoral students enter the dissertation stage. It mainly assesses the academic ethics, theoretical basic knowledge and scientific research ability of doctoral students, generally before the end of the second semester. The assessment form includes written examination of subject comprehensive level and expert interview. The assessment is conducted by the subject comprehensive interview assessment team composed of no less than 5 experts, and a person in charge is determined to preside over the interview. The assessment results are divided into excellent, qualified and suspended. The proportion of suspension of passing shall not be less than 15% of the actual number of examinees. For the doctoral students who are suspended, they can apply for another assessment at least 6 months later. Doctoral students have two comprehensive assessment opportunities during the semester. If they fail to pass the two examinations, they will be considered as dropping out.
6. Degree Thesis and Degree Award(学位论文与学位授予)
6.1 Dissertation proposal(论文开题)
开题是研究生培养过程中开展学位论文工作的首要环节。博士研究生学位论文开题报告审核通过两年(至少16个月)后方可申请送审答辩。具体要求详见《江苏大学研究生学位论文选题与开题的要求及考核办法(暂行)》(江大研字(2018)09号)。
The opening of a thesis is the first step in the process of postgraduate training. Only after the opening report of doctoral dissertation has been approved for two years (at least 16 months), can it apply for submission for examination and defense. For specific requirements, please refer to the requirements and assessment methods for topic selection and opening of postgraduate dissertation of Jiangsu University (Provisional) (jdyz (2018) No.09).
6.2 Scientific research training and achievements(完成完整的科研训练与获得相应的科研成果)
研究生在学期间必须参与完整的科研训练全过程,获取一定的科研成果,具体要求详见《江苏大学关于研究生在学期间必须完成完整的科研训练与获得相应科研成果的规定》和所在学院学位评定分委员会提出的相关要求。
Students must participate in the whole process of the scientific research training and obtain the required scientific research results during the semesters. For specific requirements, please refer to the relative regulations of Jiangsu University, as well as the relevant requirements proposed by the degree evaluation sub-committee of your school.
6.3 Dissertation writing (论文撰写)
学位论文必须在导师指导下由研究生本人独立完成,论文格式参见《江苏大学研究生学位论文撰写格式要求》。
The dissertation must be completed independently by the postgraduate under the guidance of the supervisor. For the format of the thesis, please refer to the requirements for the writing format of postgraduate dissertation of Jiangsu University.
6.4 Thesis review and defense(论文评阅与答辩)
研究生的课程学分、拓展学分和实践学分均满足要求后方可进入学位论文送审、答辩环节,博士生在学位论文送审前还必须通过论文预审和预答辩环节。学位论文送审、答辩等要求详见《江苏大学学位授予工作实施细则》和《江苏大学研究生学位论文“盲审”工作办法》等相关规定。
Postgraduate course credits, expansion credits, and practical credits must meet the requirements before entering the dissertation review and defense. Doctoral students must also pass the pre-review and pre-defense links before submitting the dissertation. The requirements for the submission and defense of degree thesis are detailed in the "Rules for the Implementation of Jiangsu University Degree Awards" and the "Measures for the Blind Review of Jiangsu University Graduate Degree Thesis" and other relevant regulations.
