1. The discipline overview and research direction(学科概况与研究方向)
江苏大学机械工程学科依托江苏大学机械工程学院、汽车与交通工程学院和农业工程学院建设,是江苏高校优势学科、江苏省国家一级重点学科培育建设点。在第四轮学科评估中,机械工程为B+。拥有机械制造及其自动化国家重点(培育)学科、混合动力车辆技术国家地方联合工程研究中心以及12个省部级工程中心和重点实验室。机械工程学科1994年设立博士后科研流动站并获首批工程硕士授权,2000年获一级学科博士点。
Relying on the construction of School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Automobile and Transportation Engineering and School of Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University's Mechanical Engineering Discipline is a superior discipline in Jiangsu Province and a national key cultivation discipline for Jiangsu Province. In the fourth round of discipline assessment, agricultural engineering ranks A-, and mechanical engineering ranks B +. It has national key (cultivation) disciplines in mechanical manufacturing and automation, national and local joint engineering research centers for hybrid vehicle technology, and 12 provincial and ministerial engineering centers and key laboratories. In 1994, a post-doctoral scientific research mobile station was established and authorized to award the first batch of engineering masters. In 2000, it was awarded the first level discipline doctoral program.
机械硕士专业学位点涵盖机械工程、农业工程、交通运输工程、食品科学工程、工业设计等相关学科方向,机械制造及其自动化学科1981年获首批硕士点,1998年获博士点,是“十一五”国家重点(培育)学科。机械设计及理论(原农业机械设计与制造)学科1981 年获首批博士点,1994年获江苏省重点学科。车辆工程学科1996年获博士点,是全国高校第4 个获得该领域博士点的学科,农产品加工工程学科1993年获批全国第一个博士点,1997-2002年之间,机械工程、车辆工程、农业工程、食品工程等一批工程硕士学位点获批。
The master's degree program of Mechanical Engineering covers mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, transportation engineering, food science engineering, industrial design and other related disciplines. In 1981, the first batch of master's degree programs were awarded in mechanical manufacturing and automation, and in 1998, the doctor's degree program was awarded. It is a national key (cultivation) discipline during the 11th five year plan. In 1981, the discipline of mechanical design and theory (the former agricultural machinery design and manufacturing) was awarded the first batch of doctoral programs, and in 1994, it was awarded the key discipline of Jiangsu Province. In 1996, the discipline of vehicle engineering was awarded the doctor's degree. It is the fourth discipline in Colleges and universities in China to obtain the doctor's degree in this field. In 1993, the discipline of agricultural product processing engineering was approved as the first doctor's degree in China. Between 1997 and 2002, a number of master's degree programs in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, agricultural engineering and food engineering were approved.

2. Training objectives(培养目标)

3. The length of study and training methods (培养方式及学习年限)
3.1 The length of study (学习年限)
基本学制为3年,最长学习年限为5年。

3.2 Training method(培养方法)
1) 采用全日制和非全日制两种学习方式。全日制专业学位研究生实行集中在校学习和专业实践相结合的培养方式。非全日制专业学位研究生采取多种方式和灵活时间安排进行非脱产学习,但在校学习时间累计不得少于6个月。

2) 实行双导师制,鼓励实行导师组制。双导师制是指1名校内学术导师和1名校外社会实践部门的导师共同指导学生,其中以校内导师指导为主,校外导师承担和参与实践性课程教学及实践训练、项目研究、论文写作等多环节指导工作。

5. Practice credit requirements(实践学分要求)
5.1 Academic activities (no less than 2 credits)(学术活动-不低于2 学分)
硕士研究生在学期间应参加10次以上学校组织的国内外知名专家学者的专题讲座、学术报告、研究生论坛等学术研讨活动,参加每次学术活动获得学分0.2 分,参加学术研讨活动后须形成完整的学术报告记录,学术报告记录由学科或导师负责考核。
境外参加国际学术会议宣读本人论文并交流发言1 次,出具有效证明材料,获得2学分;
国内参加国内学术会议宣读本人论文并交流发言1 次,出具有效证明材料,获得1学分。
Master students should participate in more than 10 academic seminars organized by the school, including domestic and foreign well-known experts and scholars, academic reports, graduate forums, etc., 0.2 credits for each. 5.2 Literature reading (not less than 2 credits)(文献阅读-不低于2 学分)
根据《需阅读的主要经典著作和专业学术期刊目录》和相关研究方向,阅读至少40 篇以上外文文献,并完成英文文献阅读报告,学位论文开题前需进行考核并记录成绩,不合格者不得进入学位论文开题环节。在英文期刊以第一作者或第二作者(导师为第一作者)公开发表高水平专业学术论文,可视为外文文献阅读环节合格。
Read more than 1 classic works and more than 40 foreign literatures according to the reading guide of mechanical engineering monograph literature, and complete the English literature reading report. Before the commencement of the dissertation, the examination should be conducted and results be recorded. Those who fail to pass the examination shall not enter the commencement of the dissertation. The publication of professional academic papers in English journals as the first author or the second author (the instructor is the first author), and is included in the EI / SCI can be regarded as qualified for the reading of foreign language literature.
5.3 Seminar (not less than 3 credits)(专题研讨-不低于3学分)
研究生在学期间必须在学科范围内公开进行文献研读交流、学术研究进展汇报和专题研讨汇报,硕士研究生不得少于3次,专题研讨活动1学分/次,鼓励研究生跨学科研讨,专题研讨由导师审核认定。
During the study, postgraduate students must publicly carry out literature study and exchange, academic research progress report and topic discussion report within the discipline scope. 5.4 Practice (6 credit)(实践环节-6 学分)
专业学位研究生在校期间满足以下条件视同实践环节合格:
(1)进行不少于 6 个月(应届本科生不少于 1 年)的企业(行业)技术(技能)实践;
(2)工业设计工程方向可以作品获奖获得实践学分。国家级及以上(全国美协、文联、文化部、行业协会联合或单独举办,国际知名工业设计大赛):第一等次奖6学分、第二等次奖4学分、第三等次奖2学分;省级(省美协、文联、文化厅、行业协会联合或单独举办):第一等次奖4学分、第二等次奖2学分、第三等次奖1学分。
Professional degree graduates who meet the following conditions during school are deemed to be qualified in the practice link:

6. Degree Thesis and Degree Award (学位论文与学位授予)
全日制工程硕士研究生学位论文选题应来源于工程实际或具有明确的工程技术背景,可以是新技术、新工艺、新设备、新材料、新产品的研制与开发。论文的内容可以是:工程设计与研究、技术研究或技术改造方案研究、工程软件或 应用软件开发、工程管理等。论文应具备一定的技术要求和工作量,体现作者综合运用科学理论、 方法和技术手段解决工程技术问题的能力,并有一定的理论基础,具有先进性、实用性。
The topic selection for full-time engineering master's degree thesis should be derived from engineering practice or have a clear engineering technology background, which can be the research and development of new technologies, new processes, new equipment, new materials, and new products. The content of the thesis can be: engineering design and research, technical research or technical transformation program research, engineering software or application software development, engineering management, etc. The thesis should have certain technical requirements and workload, reflect the author's ability to use scientific theories, methods and technical means to solve engineering and technical problems, and have a certain theoretical basis, advanced and practical.
6.1 Dissertation proposal (论文开题)
开题是研究生培养过程中开展学位论文工作的首要环节。硕士研究生学位论文开题报告审核通过一年(至少8个月)后方可申请送审答辩。具体要求详见《江苏大学研究生学位论文选题与开题的要求及考核办法(暂行)》(江大研字(2018)09号)。

6.2 Scientific research training and achievements(完成完整的科研训练与获得相应的科研成果)
研究生在学期间必须参与完整的科研训练全过程,获取一定的科研成果,具体要求详见《江苏大学关于研究生在学期间必须完成完整的科研训练与获得相应科研成果的规定》和所在学院学位评定分委员会提出的相关要求。

6.3 Dissertation writing (论文撰写)

6.4 Thesis review and defense(论文评阅与答辩)
研究生的课程学分、拓展学分和实践学分均满足要求后方可进入学位论文送审、答辩环节。学位论文送审、答辩等要求详见《江苏大学学位授予工作实施细则》和《江苏大学研究生学位论文“盲审”工作办法》等相关规定。
