On the afternoon of November 9th, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a community safety theme education activity in the lecture hall group 103 with the theme of "civilized and obedient, good morals, safety education in my heart". The activity was lectured by community counselor Yu Weijie and all freshmen participated this event.

First of all, Yu Weijie analyzed the recent community safety issues and asked the students to strictly abide by the community rules and regulations and do a good job in the construction of dormitory civilization. Next, he explained the school’s "Safe and Civilized Construction Month" activities from three aspects: "How to create a safe and civilized community", "Analysis of dormitory violation cases" and "Civilized community standards", and called on all classes to work hard to create civilized dormitories. Finally, he also emphasized that on the occasion of "119" National Fire Fighting Day, all dormitories should strictly demand themselves and form good living habits, especially to prevent the use of illegal electrical appliances.

Through the holding of this event, the safety awareness of the freshmen of the School of Mechanical Engineering has been improved, and they have been urged to develop good safety, civilized and sanitary behaviors, and a good learning and living environment has also been created for the freshmen.
