On September 14, School of Mechanical Engineering invited Mr. Lu Jing, the deputy director of the Mental Health Education Center of the school, to give a mental health lecture entitled "Opening the University's Heart Life" to the college's 2020 freshmen majoring in mechanical engineering. The lecture was guided by the freshmen Member Yu Weijie.

In the lecture, Mr. Lu explained how to adapt to university life and study, how to maintain mental health, and the rules of interpersonal communication, and guided students to understand the university in a comprehensive way. In addition, Mr. Lu also puts forward coping strategies for freshmen to adapt to university life as soon as possible, enhance their sense of internal security as soon as possible, and encourage freshmen to actively seek psychological assistance inside and outside the school and learn to take care of themselves.
Through the holding of this lecture, freshmen can realize the importance of mental health and preventive measures, increase freshmen's attention to mental health, enhance physical and mental immunity, and adjust their mentality to adapt to university life in time.
