On the evening of July 5th, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a lecture on employment guidance for 2021 graduates of the graduate school on the platform of Station B. The lecture invites Yang Weiwei, Director of Operation Center of Harbin Travel Moped Business Unit, Chen Jun, Expert Engineer of Cylinder Head System of Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center, and Hong Baonan, Deputy Director of Liabilities Product Director of Wealth Management Department of Citibank (China) Co., Ltd. as guest speakers. The instructor also Yuting, Yu Weijie and all the 2021 graduates of the graduate school attended this lecture, which was hosted by Chen Qiuyue.

This lecture is mainly conducted in the form of question and answer. Yang Weiwei analyzed the factors that college students need to consider and make choices when facing job hunting in light of their own growth experience. Chen Jun introduced the basic qualities of talents favored by enterprises under the environment of mechanical job selection, as well as the employment skills that fresh undergraduates and graduate students need to study. Hong Baonan introduced the key points for students to pay attention to when preparing resumes from the perspective of enterprises, as well as the focus of enterprises when selecting resumes. The whole lecture was witty and brilliant, and the three alumni gave a lively career guidance class to the students. Finally, the three alumni and classmates discussed and exchanged ideas about the confusion and problems in study and job hunting.

This lecture deepened the understanding of the current employment situation and industry development of our school’s 2021 graduates, further corrected students’ employment attitudes, clarified employment goals, and enhanced employment skills.
