On April 18th, the School of Mechanical Engineering launched an online poster design competition with the theme of "Advocating the Spirit of Innovation and Protecting Intellectual Property Rights" to strengthen college students' awareness of intellectual property protection.

The activity is divided into four parts. In the first part, the head of the publicity Department of the college announced the start of the activity. He told the history of World Intellectual Property Day and the importance of protecting intellectual property, which strengthened students' awareness of protecting intellectual property. Then the online solicitation was carried out. Students used various poster design skills flexibly to complete their own works, to express their respect for intellectual property rights and to affirm the spirit of innovation. The third part is the online meeting selection stage. The judges selected the entries from the three aspects of theme, creativity and poster making skills, which pushed the atmosphere of the event to a climax. At last, Du Kang, a teacher from the Youth League Committee of the College of Mechanics, made a summary of the activity and expressed his affirmation and encouragement to the activity.

This activity centered on the protection of intellectual property rights, we had a deep understanding of intellectual property rights again, made clear the importance of intellectual property rights protection, stimulated the enthusiasm of students for innovation and entrepreneurship, helped students to improve their awareness of property rights, actively participate in the ranks of innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute their youth and strength for the Party and the country.
