On March 28th, the volunteers of the Youth Association of the School of Mechanical Engineering carried out the "Don't let the blue planet fade" World Water Week public welfare activity through the way of Internet science popularization.
The activity is divided into two parts, namely offline collection and water saving tips and online science popularization. The first part is an offline demonstration of water-saving tips. Volunteers work together to find water-saving measures in their homes and take photos and upload them. For example, some classmates use vegetable washing water to flush the toilet; An empty basin is placed under the tap to collect the dripping water. In the second part, the volunteers held an online meeting, where each volunteer talked about the water saving tips they found at home, and encouraged everyone to forward them to Moments to promote good water conservation practices and the importance of water conservation.
Water conservation is an excellent virtue, and contemporary college students should continue to promote and publicize it, so that society can form a climate of active water conservation and contribute to the protection of water resources.
