Regard-ing further improving the implementation plan for the employment of 2020 graduates

In order to thoroughly implement the State Council, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government’s decision and deployment on the employment of college graduates and the school’s "Guiding Opinions on the Employment of 2020 Graduates" (Jiang University [2020] No. 5) document spirit, to achieve  The full and high-quality employment of our school's 2020 graduates is now combined with the actual situation of our school to formulate this implementation plan for the employment of our school's graduates under the current situation.

 1. Basic situation and work objectives

 There are a total of 648 graduates in 2020, including 264 postgraduates and 384 undergraduates.

 Employment indicators: The total employment rate of undergraduates is 97%, the agreed employment rate (including entering and going abroad) is 96%, the initial employment rate is 94%, and the leave-of-school employment rate is 80%; the total employment rate of graduate students is 97%.  The employment rate (including entering school and going abroad) is 97%, the initial employment rate is 94%, and the school leaving employment rate is 85%.

 2. Organizational leadership and job responsibilities

 1.  The leading group for adjusting the employment of graduates of the college is as follows:

 2.  Establish an employment responsibility system with the participation of colleges, majors, departments, and mentors

 School and Work Office: Fully excavate and collect employment information, in-depth analysis of the employment situation of students, establish graduate employment files, and accurately push employment information; strengthen communication with enterprises, and provide matching services for enterprise recruitment; guide students to sign contracts and report employment information  , Timely statistics on employment-related data.

 Department (institute) person in charge: Strengthen professional construction, improve the quality of professional talent training, enhance the core competitiveness of graduates in employment, and be responsible for implementing and promoting the employment of graduates of this major (direction).

 Party branch secretary: Responsible for supervising and inspecting the employment of students in the department (institute), giving full play to the role of the fighting fortress of the party branch and the vanguard and exemplary role of party teachers.

 Postgraduate tutor: As the “first responsible person” for postgraduate training, strengthen employment guidance and graduation thesis guidance for students, and make full use of industry, university and research resources to provide employment assistance for postgraduates.

 Academic tutor: Combining our own resources to provide employment guidance for graduates, strengthen assistance to students with difficulties in finding employment, and effectively solve the problems that exist in the process of employment.

 3. Work measures

 1.  Accurately map the employment status of graduates.  Implement the “daily report” system for graduates’ employment status and the college’s weekly notification system.  "One person will be employed, and one person will report data information." The 2020 graduates will be thoroughly investigated and sorted out one by one, and the “Summary of Graduates Waiting for Employment and Temporarily Not Employment” will be filled in, and a weekly notification system will be implemented.

 2. Fully mobilize to collect high-quality employment information.  Mobilize the strength of all teachers and provide students with employment information in a timely manner.  Substantively communicate with employers, fully excavate alumni and industry-university-research resources, and broaden student employment channels.  Actively contact employers, and cooperate with brother colleges to hold the "Yangtze River Delta Engineering Education Alliance 2020 Machinery Industry Special Air Job Fair".

 3. Implement online accurate push of recruitment information.  Urge every graduate to immediately follow the WeChat official account of "Jiang University Wisdom Employment", and switch the job hunting channel from offline to online.  The QQ group of unemployed students of the college releases selected "employment information" in a timely manner to improve the timeliness and accuracy of online employment information release.

 4. Organize and participate in online campus recruitment activities.  Mobilize graduates to pay attention to various online job fairs issued by the Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Recruitment Center, local talent service agencies and relevant industry authorities.  Actively help graduates to understand air presentations, online written examinations, online assessments, etc.; guide students to make good use of WeChat, QQ and other instant messaging tools to conduct video interviews, do a good job in online job search, and enhance the competitiveness of graduates.

 5. Focus on promoting precise employment assistance.  For students who have difficulties in obtaining employment and have not yet implemented their jobs, implement the "one person, one policy" dynamic management and "one-to-one" precise assistance, and confirm the assistance information according to the requirements of the "Jiangsu University 2020 Employment Difficulty Graduates Assistance File"  .  Strengthen online education and guidance for graduates, keep abreast of student psychological changes, resolve psychological misunderstandings, correct career and employment mentality, widely publicize national and local government employment policies, and encourage students to find employment at the grassroots level.

 Four, work requirements

 1.  Strengthen organizational leadership and improve political positions.  Employment is a people's livelihood project, which is related to the vital interests of students.  All units of the college should earnestly improve their political positions, attach great importance to it, actively respond to difficulties, and take the employment project as the college's top project, fully aware of the importance of employment for talent training and college construction.

 2. Take the initiative to plan and collaborate and do detailed work.  All units of the college should strengthen planning, proactive actions, and innovative work initiatives, make good use of the employment work network platform, further standardize employment work, and build a full-staff education system.

 3. Strict work discipline and strengthen accountability.  All units of the college should take the graduate employment leadership group as the core, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities, and combine the latest development of the epidemic situation and the actual situation of employment work to do a good job in the employment of 2020 graduates.
