1. Paper submission, submission for review, defense and other related matters
1. Dissertations are submitted online for review and review (see Annex 1 for detailed operating instructions). Before submitting the dissertation for review and approval, graduate students need to log on to the Graduate School website (http://yjsy.ujs.edu.cn/) and click on the homepage "Graduate Management Information System" (for grade 2014, click "Graduate Management Information System 2014 Edition"), and then Click on the "Postgraduate Login Entry" to enter online scientific research results (including academic papers, patents, scientific research awards, etc.) during the academic period (please upload relevant supporting materials), and upload the blind review format of the dissertation (PDF format), and please The instructor enters the system to confirm that he agrees to submit for review.
2. The dissertation must be tested for academic misconduct before submission for review (see Annex 2 for specific requirements). The college enters the graduate management system to download the thesis submitted for review with the consent of the supervisor for academic misconduct test. The test results are fed back to the graduate students, and only those who pass the test can enter the dissertation submission link.
3. The college and the graduate school are jointly responsible for the implementation of the submission of doctoral dissertations, and a system combining "real name review" + "blind review" is implemented. The real-name review is determined by the discipline according to the research direction of each batch of doctoral dissertations submitted for review with the supervisor to determine an external expert for review or direct review by an internal subject expert group.
4. Blind review is implemented for master's degree thesis (including professional master's and academic master's).
5. The schedule for submission of doctoral dissertations for review in the first half of 2020 is as follows:
(1) The deadline for submission of doctoral thesis for review is April 15; the deadline for submission of master's degree thesis for review is May 6. Applications for review will no longer be accepted between the deadline of submission for review and May 31.
6. After the doctoral students' real-name review opinions are returned, the college will submit them for approval to the graduate school to enter the blind review link. When submitting to the graduate school for approval, a scanned copy of the real-name review opinions will be attached.
7. The number of returned doctoral dissertation reviews will be promptly published on the "Graduate School of Jiangsu University" webpage (http://yjsy.ujs.edu.cn), updated daily, please check the status of the return status of the dissertation review and review comments online Upon arrival, the degree office will electronically send the review comments to the teaching secretary of the college. Passed by the teaching secretary to graduate students or tutors.
The dissertation for master's degree and postgraduates will be submitted for review by the college. After the review comments are returned, the college will electronically transmit the review comments passed in the blind review to the graduate students or supervisors.
8. The defense time for the postgraduate dissertation should be determined after receiving qualified postgraduate dissertation comments. The thesis defense that does not meet the requirements of this article will not be guaranteed to be conducted on time.
The review opinions of master students who have a dissertation with a score of less than 70 or an average score of less than 75 will be defended by the college, and the graduate students and supervisors will cooperate; if the review opinions are less than 60 or the experts do not agree to the defense, they are not allowed to participate in the defense .
2. Requirements for degree-granting information submission
Graduates of this batch of graduate students (including general full-time masters, engineering masters, Tongli masters, and higher education masters) and doctoral students should submit a scanned version of the " Information Form for the Award of Academic Degrees" ("Operation Instructions", see Appendix 5).
3. Requirements for submission of outstanding dissertations
In accordance with the spirit of "Jiangsu University Excellent Graduate Dissertation Evaluation Method", graduate students who intend to apply for excellent dissertation must obtain the consent of their supervisors, apply when the dissertation is submitted for review, and fill in the “Application Form for the Submission of Excellent Dissertation for Graduate Students of Jiangsu University” The template is shown in Annex 7), together with the "Educational Degree Awarding Information Form", submitted to the teaching secretary of the college in electronic format. After verifying the situation, the teaching secretary will collectively report to the Graduate School for approval.
Those who fail to submit an application within the time limit will be invalid for this excellent dissertation application.
4. Requirements for submission of degree award materials
The college holds a degree evaluation subcommittee meeting before the deadline set by the graduate school. Before the degree evaluation subcommittee is held, the college will publish the materials of the members of the branch on the college website.
Before mid-June, the college will submit the list and materials of this batch of recommended master and doctorate personnel to the Graduate School Degree Office.
5. Production and issuance of academic qualifications and degree certificates
1. Certificate production
The academic qualifications and degree certificates of all graduate students are printed by the Graduate School. Each college is responsible for pasting the certificate photos.
2. Non-degree postgraduates (including non-academic engineering masters, Tongli masters, and higher education masters) should submit two 2-inch color photos in the prescribed format and their electronic versions when applying to the college for their dissertation review (available on campus Shooting at the "Meiyi Image" photo studio next to the inner post office. The prescribed format has been put on record in the photo studio).
3. Certificate issuance
Certificates must be issued after approval by the College, Finance Office, and Graduate School.
The certificates of non-targeted and self-financed masters in the national plan are issued by the college;
The entrusted training and orientation of masters and all doctoral certificates are issued by the Graduate School in accordance with relevant regulations.
4. Certificate replacement
Students who need to replace their certificates due to information errors must submit a written application for certificate replacement to the Degree Office of the Graduate School at the beginning of the next batch. The certificate can be replaced after purchasing the inner core of the certificate. Such applications are not accepted in this batch.
