On April 26, 2019, the academic department of the graduate Association of the school of mechanical engineering successfully held an Academic Salon in the lecture hall on the seventh floor of the mechanical building. The theme of this activity is "encourage academic exchanges and activate scientific research ideas". The 18 level graduate students participated in this activity.

At the beginning of the activity, the host gave a brief introduction to the purpose of the activity for the coming students, and then students at level 17, Wei Jie, introduced the process of patent writing and application in detail. Many students at the meeting said that they benefited a lot; Geng Jie, the winner of the National Award at level 16 of our college, shared the precautions of scientific research and the writing of academic papers, and encouraged the younger and younger students to make clear their life plan Xiang, who actively participated in scientific research projects and academic exchanges, won warm applause for his humorous explanation. At last, several senior brothers carefully answered the questions about how to realize the scientific research innovation and the practicability of scientific research put forward by the graduate students here.
