On August 16th, to inspire students' innovative thinking and enhance their employability and entrepreneurship, the School of Mechanical Engineering, relying on the "Yiyou" Science and Technology Innovation Workstation, jointly organized the "Recounting Youth Dreams, Discussing Corporate Innovation Spirit" – Industry Experts Entering the Academy event with the University Student Party Committee of Jiangsu University and the "Yiyou" Science and Technology Innovation Counselor Studio in Room B414 of the Mechanical Building.

The event invited two alumni of the Measurement and Control major (Class 2001): Wang Shaohui, founder of Tuna Intelligent Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and Chen Zhaorong, CEO of SISTEK Wuxi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., to deliver special lectures to students on their entrepreneurial journeys and career guidance. The event was hosted by Ye Xin, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and attended by students from the school and the academy.
At the beginning of the event, taking "From Engineer to Entrepreneur" as the main line, Wang Shaohui reviewed his entire journey from automated equipment research and development, job transfer to sales, to finally founding a company. He systematically introduced the company's business scope, core products and corporate culture, helping students understand the key path of commercializing technological achievements.
Subsequently, Chen Zhaorong shared insights focusing on enterprise establishment and team building. He emphasized the development prospects of semiconductor equipment components, corporate culture shaping and talent echelon construction experience, and analyzed the quality model of talents required by enterprises from the corporate perspective.
Finally, in the communication session, the two alumni answered students' questions one by one based on their own experiences, providing targeted suggestions for the on-site students on employment choices and career planning.

This event not only provided students with a valuable opportunity to communicate face-to-face with outstanding alumni, but also built a bridge for in-depth communication between universities and enterprises, offering a precious chance for students to clarify their career paths and stimulate their innovative momentum. The school will continue to build an alumni collaborative education platform to help more students pursue their dreams in the future, enabling them to stand out at the starting point of their careers and smoothly move towards their ideal workplace.
