On January 24, the Faculty Party Branch of Mechanical Design Department, together with the Postgraduate Party Branch, went to Liyang City to carry out a distinctive themed Party Day activity titled "Teachers and Students Explore Frontiers Together, Industry-Education Integration Starts a New Journey".
In the morning, the branch delegation visited Jiangsu Weize Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Liyang Yijia Garden Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Hengxin Storage Equipment Co., Ltd. They conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with the companies' technical personnel on the companies' characteristic products and their innovative cutting-edge technologies.
Jiangsu Weize Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is an enterprise dedicated to the professional design, manufacturing, and sales of gear grinding fluid filtration systems and indexable insert peripheral grinders. Party member teachers and students entered the frontline of the workshop production and visited the company's mainstream products, including gear grinder filtration systems, tool grinder filtration systems, high-speed steel tool grinding filtration systems, and vacuum filtration cooling systems. The general manager of the company gave a detailed explanation to everyone on the indexable insert peripheral grinder developed in cooperation with the team of Professor Yuan Hao from the School of Mechanical Engineering, covering the machine tool layout structure, multi-axis linkage grinding, precise free centering measurement and compensation, optimized mechanical structure design, and transmission mechanism, as well as the product's working principle and related cutting-edge technologies.
Liyang Yijia Garden Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. is a company focusing on the cultivation of high-value-added agricultural product "Liyang White Celery". Through industry-university-research cooperation with the team of Professor Yuan Hao from the School of Mechanical Engineering and three years of intensive research and development, the company has successfully launched a complete set of professional machinery including "Liyang White Celery Seeder", "Liyang White Celery Hilling Machine", and "Liyang White Celery Harvester", realizing the automation of white celery cultivation from hilling, seeding to harvesting.
Jiangsu Hengxin Storage Equipment Co., Ltd. is committed to the development of products such as steel silos, drying equipment, elevators, scraper conveyors, and light and small lifting and transportation equipment. It has long-term cooperation with the School of Mechanical Engineering and has developed super-large diameter spiral steel silo forming equipment and large workpiece automatic welding robots that fill the domestic gap. Teachers and students visited the forming and processing process of spiral steel silos (including robotic welding process control, riveting process between spiral steel plates, and steel silo roundness control process) and communicated with the company's technical personnel to discuss key technical issues in the forming and processing process.
In the afternoon, the branch delegation visited the red cultural education sites located in Shuixi Village, Zhuze Town, including the former site of the New Fourth Army Jiangnan Command Headquarters, the New Fourth Army Jiangnan Command Historical Materials Exhibition Hall, the Chen Yi Marshal's Poems and Generals' Calligraphy Stele Corridor, the New Fourth Army Integrity Thought Education Hall, the Mao Zedong Badge Exhibition Hall, and the Memorial Square. Through real objects, photos, and recreated battle scenes, everyone personally experienced the fearless struggle spirit of the Communist Party members who fought bravely and sacrificed themselves under extremely difficult conditions, further strengthening the communist ideals and beliefs of the party member teachers and students.
