On September 21, to promote in-depth communication and interaction between freshmen and senior students, enrich campus life, and create a positive and uplifting atmosphere in college, the School of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with Zhongling Academy and Hongjiang Academy, held the "New Journey Encounter, Heartfelt Communication" Mental Health Festival event on September 20.

At the event, the freshmen actively participated, each picking up a pen to write their aspirations, expectations, and beautiful wishes for the future on exquisite cards. Senior students, eager to help, provided answers to the questions and confusions presented on these cards. They expressed their heartfelt feelings through sincere words; some wrote motivational phrases like, "May my four years in college be filled with challenges and growth, and may I meet a better version of myself." Others expressed their anticipation of meeting new classmates and friends, such as, "I look forward to meeting like-minded partners on this new journey to chase our dreams together." Each card carried the dreams and hopes of the freshmen, serving as a unique testament to the beginning of their college lives. At the end of the event, the organizers collected these warm and empowering cards to create a "Heartfelt Wall." This "Heartfelt Wall" not only showcased the spirit of the freshmen but also encouraged more students to pay attention to mental health and actively face life's challenges.

The successful organization of the "New Journey Encounter, Heartfelt Communication" Mental Health Education event on September 20 provided a platform for freshmen to express themselves, allowing them to better understand themselves and pay attention to their mental health through the process of writing messages. Additionally, by sharing these messages, the freshmen felt the encouragement and support from their peers, strengthening their connections and sense of cohesion.
