On the morning of September 10th, an introductory session for the 2024 intake of the Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments major was held at Room 3204, Building 3 of the Jingjiang No.3 Campus. Professor Song Shupeng of the Measurement and Control major presented an introduction to the field for the new students. All 2024 intake of the Measurement and Control major participated in this session.

Professor Song Shupeng provided a detailed introduction to the field, covering various aspects including the professional connotation, development history, student research, professional characteristics, faculty team, and employment situation of the Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments major. He offered an in-depth interpretation of the major's training objectives and programs, highlighting the comprehensiveness, multidisciplinary nature, and deep relevance to daily life of the major. He also pointed out the specific relevance of the major to addressing China's "bottleneck" technology challenges. Finally, Professor Song expressed his expectations for the new students' future academic studies and encouraged all new students to strive for new heights with Jiangsu University.

This session helped the new students to gain a preliminary understanding of the specific research content, future employment, and research directions of the Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments major.
