To further promote high-quality employment for students and broaden their employment horizons, on September 20, the School of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with Hongjiang Academy and the Office Youth League Branch, organized recent graduates to participate in the 26th High-Level Talent and Intelligence Introduction Fair in Ningbo. This fair was hosted by the Organization Department of the Ningbo Municipal Committee (Talent Office) and the Ningbo Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, aiming to attract high-level talents for key industrial enterprises in Ningbo. Under the leadership of Wu Tian, Deputy Director of the Student Work Office of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Secretary of the Office Youth League Branch, the graduating class of 2025 from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Hongjiang Academy took part in this fair in Ningbo.
To effectively advance the employment work for the graduating class of 2025 and further enhance employment services, our college conducted extensive publicity and mobilization within the institution based on the demand for some urgently needed majors from this fair. At the event, our students engaged in in-depth exchanges with renowned companies such as Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. and Haitian Plastics Machinery Group, establishing initial contacts. Through the on-site talent introduction policy presentation, students' interest and willingness to intern and work in Ningbo were further enhanced. Additionally, some students participated in KSS's open day activities, where they made initial resume submissions and interviews.
It is reported that this fair featured a total of five exhibition halls, set up 15 talent introduction zones focusing on the talent needs of key industrial enterprises, including financial institutions, universities and research institutes, future and emerging industries, hospitals and health units, and the Yangtze River Delta integration. A total of 930 enterprises and institutions offered more than 21,000 job positions, attracting over 200 universities and research institutions, and more than 18,000 attendees for discussions, among which 75% were master's and doctoral candidates, including 821 PhD holders.
The successful holding of this fair not only provided abundant employment opportunities for graduates but also offered strong support for enterprises in selecting outstanding talents, playing a positive role in helping our graduates achieve smooth and timely employment. The college will continue to expand the job market, deepen connections with resources from various cities, fully support local talent introduction efforts, and actively promote employment for graduates.
