To further assist the Class of 2021 students in gaining a deeper understanding of the current situation regarding the graduate school entrance examination and to clarify their career direction, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a seminar on the analysis of the graduate school entrance examination situation on the morning of May 16th in Lecture Hall 101. The seminar was led by Zhang Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, with counselors Huang Guoqing and Ji Guangrui facilitating the meeting. All students from the Class of 2021 participated in the event.
At the beginning of the seminar, Zhang Liming introduced the graduate school entrance examination policies and current situation to the students. She provided a detailed analysis of the overall examination trends over the past three years, categorizing the information by major and class, and covering aspects such as specialty characteristics, examination conditions, difficulty levels, and school rankings. Additionally, she presented specific data regarding graduate admissions, enrollments, and the sources of candidates from our college over the previous three years.Subsequently, Zhang focused on key aspects of the application, examination, and adjustment processes that the students were concerned about, helping them to gain a clearer understanding of the graduate school entrance examination workflow. She emphasized that while the number of applicants for the examination has consistently increased in recent years and competition has become increasingly intense, there are still many outstanding students who successfully stand out. Therefore, she encouraged students to set proper goals, develop scientific study plans, leverage their strengths, and work diligently to excel amidst fierce competition.
This seminar on the analysis of the graduate school entrance examination situation not only provided students with a platform to understand the current landscape and share preparation experiences but also inspired their enthusiasm for preparing for the examination and boosted their confidence. With the support and assistance of the college, it is believed that students will achieve excellent results and realize their dreams.
