In the afternoon of 3 December, the faculty party branch of the Department of Mechanical Design and the Department of Intelligent Manufacturing of the School of Mechanical Engineering jointly carried out the party day activity of watching the red film "Founding Generals". Cheng Guanggui, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing, was invited to participate in this activity.

The Founding Generals is a revolutionary film about the founding generals who sacrificed themselves for the cause of the great liberation of the Chinese people during the Revolutionary War. Against the backdrop of the major historical event of investiture, the film looks back and shows the glorious history of a group of heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the Chinese Revolution. Adopting a combination of grandiose scenes and delicate emotional detailing, combined with multiple interspersions of memories of several generals before and after the 1955 rankings, the film vividly demonstrates the glorious history of our army since its founding. By telling the life and battle experiences of the founding generals, the film shows the resilient revolutionary spirit and unforgettable dedication of the revolutionary forefathers.

Through this party day activity, we further understood the history and culture of the Chinese revolution, and deeply appreciated the great and noble patriotic sentiment and party qualities of these founding generals. Living in the new era, we should not only remember the founding generals and marshals of the historical achievements but also eulogize their unswerving revolutionary beliefs and noble sentiments, to better continue the red bloodline, and write the red spirit.
