On October 17, the School of Mechanical Engineering held an interpretation session on funding policies for the Class of 2023 graduate students at the Seventh-floor Auditorium in the Mechanical Building. The session was conducted by the graduate student counselor, Ye Xin, and attended by the graduate students of the 2023 cohort.
Initially, Ye Xin introduced the theme of the session, covering various aspects of graduate student funding, including academic scholarships, national scholarships, individual scholarships, national financial aid, student loans, and the "Three Supports" program for graduate students. Regarding academic scholarships and national scholarships, Ye Xin focused on explaining the evaluation criteria, selection timeline, and detailed rules for the selection process. For individual scholarships, she clarified the application and selection requirements for different categories. Additionally, Ye Xin provided information on the recipients and standards for national financial aid, as well as the application process for student loans. Finally, she offered a detailed introduction to the "Three Supports" program for graduate students at the school.
With national support accompanying growth, it warms hearts and nurtures talents. Through the conduct of this funding awareness event, the incoming students in the school have gained a deeper understanding of national financial aid policies, inspiring more economically challenged students to become self-reliant, confident, and dedicated to serving the country.
