On September 26, the 2022 Summer Overseas Study Exchange Symposium of the College of Mechanical Engineering was successfully held in the conference room of the College. The counselors Yu Weijie, Huang Guoqing and the students who participated in the summer overseas study attended the symposium, which was hosted by the counselor Ji Guangrui.

At the symposium, Ji Guangrui first fully affirmed the students' active participation in the summer vacation overseas study project. Subsequently, the students who participated in this summer vacation overseas study exchanged their learning experiences: First, this overseas online course, based on professional knowledge and guided by the academic frontier, extensively and deeply learned 3D printing related knowledge, broadened their academic vision and enriched their knowledge system. Second, I really felt the English class mode. Under the guidance of Harvard University professors, students independently explored the knowledge related to mechanical manufacturing in English, actively conducted classroom interaction, and effectively improved their English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities; Third, the team initially mastered the writing methods of the paper, enhanced the knowledge retrieval ability through literature reading, and the team members jointly made English reports and speeches, laying the foundation for the subsequent scientific research. Huang Guoqing affirmed the students' summer learning achievements. Online courses also played an important role in learning. We took advantage of summer time to participate in overseas learning to enrich and improve ourselves. Yu Weijie hopes that students can achieve some success in the future, continue to deepen their knowledge of overseas learning, and improve their comprehensive abilities in all aspects.

The College of Mechanical Engineering has always attached great importance to students' overseas study and exchange, and constantly created a good learning space for students' overseas study. This symposium will comprehensively and thoroughly understand the harvest and ideological trends of students' overseas study, which will further promote our overseas study and exchange work to a new level.
