In order to further strengthen party history education, the School of Mechanical Engineering’s Close Working Committee carried out the theme activity of "Youth to the Party and Struggle to Strengthen the Country" on April 1st at 202 Sanjiang Building. Teacher Ling Zhiyong of the Working Committee was invited to attend, and all students of Mechatronics Class 2020 participated in this event.

First of all, Ling Zhiyong led all the students to watch the Red Revolution documentary, learn about the red history and the long journey of the rise of great powers, and conduct in-depth study and discussion on the theme of "Revisiting the Long March and Four History Education". Then, Ling Zhiyong shared his original intention of joining the party, told the story of he and his parents following the call of the country and doing their part in building the motherland, expressing the belief in the party's lifelong pursuit. Finally, Ling Zhiyong encouraged the students present to serve as the reserve force of the party and the country, to lay a solid professional foundation, improve innovation capabilities, and dedicate themselves to the prosperity of the motherland.

The School of Mechanical Engineering will fully integrate party history learning and education into the work of the Work Committee, and continue to carry out a series of distinctive theme education activities and a series of practical education activities for the majority of young students, give full play to and demonstrate the effectiveness of the work committee’s education, and strengthen the listening of young students. The conviction and determination to follow the party's speech and to take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation.
