On the afternoon of November 20, 2020, Li Shiqiu, the editor-in-charge of the editorial department of Acta Aeronautica, was invited to our school to give a report on "Knowing Yourself and Yourself-Improving the Hit Rate of Paper Submissions" The academic report meeting was held in the lecture hall on the seventh floor of the Machinery Building of our school.
The report meeting was hosted by Professor Zhang Zhongqiang, the deputy dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering. More than 100 teachers and students from the School of Mechanical Engineering participated in the report. At the report meeting, editor Li Shiqiu introduced in detail the guidelines for submission of "Journal of Aeronautics" and "Chinese Journal of Aeronautics". At the same time, combined with actual cases, I shared my insights from the common reasons for rejection of the paper, the precautions when writing the paper, the skills of choosing the journal for submission, and the necessary checks before submission. In the communication link after the report meeting, editor Li Shiqiu had a full exchange with the teachers and students of our school, and the teachers and students benefited a lot from the meeting. This report will provide teachers and students with new ideas for thesis writing and display of scientific research results, and improve the writing level of high-level papers by teachers and students of our institute.
