On the afternoon of May 8th, at the invitation of the School of Mechanical Engineering, the deputy director of the Graduate School's Discipline Office, Chang Chang, and the Deputy Director of the Finance Department, Lu Guicheng, held a special presentation on the ESI incentive policy and a guide to the use of research funds in the lecture hall on the 7th floor of the Machinery Building. All the teachers of the college participated in this meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dean Zhou Jianzhong.

At the ESI Incentive Policy Seminar, Director Shu introduced the basic situation of the ESI incentive policy. It is proposed that by the end of 2020, engineering and agricultural science should strive to enter the overall goal of 1/1000 before the global ESI, and at the same time put forward specific requirements for the work of the college. Subsequently, a special orientation meeting on the use of research funds was held. Deputy Director Lu Guicheng and Deputy Researcher Ding Yongzhen gave detailed introductions on the use of research funds, the prohibition of research projects, the basic information of scientific research projects, and the direct expense reimbursement guidelines.

The ESI Incentive Policy Seminar further deepened the understanding of the ESI incentive policy for teachers in the hospital. The teachers in the hospital will gather together to help the school build a “double first-class”. The scientific research fund use guidance meeting is a strong support for the work of “putting, managing, and serving” the research funds. Through the policy announcements combined with the actual research project budget work needs, the relevant scientific research project leaders are responsible for the research budget and implementation. Propaganda and guidance are conducive to the smooth development of scientific research.
