Recently, the China Machinery Industry Education Association selected the teaching achievements of artificial intelligence empowering intelligent manufacturing engineering in 2025. Our college's "Knowledge Method System" AI-connected intelligent manufacturing professional talent training new model practice "project stood out from many universities across the country and won the special award. We also shared our reform experience at the" Intelligent Manufacturing Talent Training Theme Seminar "of the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Professional Committee of the China Machinery Industry Education Association.

The selection of teaching achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing engineering empowered by artificial intelligence in 2025 is hosted by the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Professional Committee of the China Machinery Industry Education Association, aiming to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on education, implement the "Outline of the Plan for Building an Education Strong Country (2024-2035)", and promote the high-quality development of intelligent manufacturing engineering professional education. The theme seminar on intelligent manufacturing talent cultivation held at the same time brought together academicians and professors from well-known universities such as the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Zhejiang University, focusing on the deep integration of AI into the entire process of talent cultivation, exploring innovative paths for intelligent manufacturing talent cultivation, and solving the problems of vague training objectives and lagging courses faced by more than 370 universities offering related majors.

Our hospital has precisely targeted the core pain points of intelligent manufacturing talent cultivation in the Yangtze River Delta and constructed a new model of AI full chain and interconnected talent cultivation. To address the issue of disconnection between training programs and industries, we have dynamically built an AI+ability training system based on knowledge graphs, and designed teaching content in reverse to meet talent needs; Faced with the contradiction of balancing "machine" and "intelligence" knowledge, establish personalized teaching methods empowered by AI based on digital tools, virtual real integration platforms, etc; In response to the problem of lagging curriculum system, a modular curriculum system guided by ability elements has been created, and a course knowledge graph deeply embedded with AI has been preliminarily formed. This mode can achieve deep integration of mechanical engineering, control science, computer technology, and artificial intelligence, and cultivate composite talents with the ability of "intelligent equipment design+industrial system integration". As a beneficial exploration of the construction of intelligent manufacturing majors, this work can provide some reference for the reform of intelligent manufacturing related majors in universities. In the future, our institute will continue to explore AI enabled manufacturing knowledge systems and educational teaching methods, and assist in the strategy of building a strong manufacturing country, providing more high-quality talents for the country.
