On August 16th, the 20th anniversary homecoming event of the Measurement and Control Class of 2001 was successfully held both online and offline. Alumni recalled their past study and life experiences through activities such as group photo shooting, exchange forums, campus tours, and dining in the campus canteen. The alumni forum was held in Conference Room B410 of the Mechanical Engineering Building, with more than 20 alumni from the Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments Class of 2001 in attendance. Lu Jinzhong, former head teacher of the Class of 2001 and current Director of the Science and Technology Department, Luo Kaiyu from the Measurement and Control Department, and Xiao Li, counselor of the Class of 2001, were present at the forum.

At the forum, alumni affectionately looked back on their study and life during their school years, shared updates on their work and families, and expressed their deep affection for their alma mater. Through the exchange, it was learned that the alumni are now excelling in various industries, and some have achieved remarkable accomplishments. The alumni also emphasized the important impact of their study experience at school on themselves, and put forward specific suggestions for their younger schoolmates on study plans, career choices, and postgraduate entrance exam decisions. Lu Jinzhong extended a warm welcome to the returning alumni and distributed copied versions of the original class student registration cards as souvenirs. He sighed at the fleeting time but noted that all alumni still maintained a good mental state and continued to contribute their efforts in various fields. He hoped that the majority of alumni would continue to care for, support, and participate in the high-quality development of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and jointly write a new chapter in the school's development.
During this event, Luo Kaiyu also invited the alumni to visit the Instrument Science and Technology Laboratory and the university library. The alumni were all impressed by the rapid development of the university and felt proud of the achievements made by their alma mater.

Taking this alumni homecoming event as an opportunity, the Measurement and Control Department improved the alumni contact list and strengthened communication and ties with alumni. This event reflected the deep friendship between alumni and their alma mater as well as their teachers, and enhanced the alumni's affection for the university.
