On August 9th, the Mechanical Engineering College held the 3rd Meeting of the 1st Session of the Alumni Council at Sichuan Kesi Precision Mould Co., Ltd. The meeting was conducted in a combined online and offline format. Li Guohao, Director of the Alumni Association and External Liaison Office of Jiangsu University, Zhao Tao, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Alumni Association of Jiangsu University, members of the Alumni Council of the Mechanical Engineering College attended the meeting, which was presided over by Zhang Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the College.

Pan Hongjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College and President of the College Alumni Association, delivered a work report on the college's alumni association. He reported on the work progress and achievements of the college's alumni association in the past year. He emphasized that the majority of alumni are an indispensable and important force for the college's development. He hoped that with this council meeting as an important opportunity and the alumni association as a solid link, the college would actively promote the cultural construction of the alumni association to a new level, further unite alumni emotions, gather alumni wisdom, and pool alumni strength to jointly build a resource platform supporting the development of the university and the college.

Zhang Zhongqiang, Dean of the College and Vice President of the College Alumni Association, introduced the college's historical evolution, disciplinary development direction, and achievements in teaching and scientific research. He said affectionately, "Alumni are the most precious wealth of the alma mater and a spiritual link transcending time and space." He earnestly expected the majority of alumni to continue to care about and support the reform and development of various undertakings of the alma mater, work in solidarity with the alma mater, and jointly continue the glory belonging to Jiangda mechanical professionals!

Li Guohao stated that the university will always pay attention to the growth and progress of alumni, and make every effort to serve, unite and gather alumni, making the alma mater the strongest backing for alumni. He hoped that through the platform of the Alumni Council, the coordinated development of connotation construction and extension development would be vigorously promoted, and efforts would be made to create a new situation for the work of the Alumni Association of the Mechanical Engineering College.

At the council meeting, Deng Xingqiang, Chairman of Sichuan Kesi Precision Mould Co., Ltd., Wang Xiaoxiao, Chairman of Kexincheng Precision Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Gao Yong, General Manager of Jiangsu Dali Cheng Electric Co., Ltd., and Wang Shaohui, General Manager of Tuna Intelligent Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., introduced the enterprise development, product innovation, future planning, etc., and shared the valuable experience and insights on their respective entrepreneurial paths. They thanked the alma mater and the college for their cultivation, care and attention to the work of the alumni association, and unanimously stated that they would actively play the role of a bridge and link through the Alumni Council, strengthen close communication and in-depth exchanges between the college and alumni, strive to form a sound development trend of the college and alumni moving in the same direction and making mutual efforts, and continuously enhance the social reputation of the university and the social popularity of alumni.

In accordance with the "Charter of the Alumni Association of the Mechanical Engineering College of Jiangsu University", the meeting adjusted the vice presidents and council members, further clarified the next work tasks and goals of the Alumni Council of the Mechanical Engineering College, and laid a solid foundation for the orderly development of the council's work in the future.

This meeting has built a closer communication bridge between the college, alumni and enterprises.
