To deepen school-enterprise cooperation, expand employment channels for graduates, and promote the precise alignment between talent cultivation and enterprise needs, the School of Mechanical Engineering, together with the Student Community Working Committee of Jiangsu University and the "Yiyou" Sci-Tech Innovation Workstation, held a special employment guidance and education activity themed "Visiting Enterprises to Expand Posts for Employment, Writing a New Chapter in School-Enterprise Cooperation" in Room B410 of the Mechanical Building on May 16.

The activity invited Chao Xiaoyang (Chairman of Jiangsu Guge Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.), Chen Lixi (Supervisor of Jiangsu Wolge Fastening System Co., Ltd.), Ni Kaixin (Manager of Jiangsu Wolge Fastening System Co., Ltd.), and Chen Xiaomin (President of China Merchants Bank Zhenjiang New District Sub-branch) to the school for exchanges.

At the meeting, Zhang Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, extended a warm welcome to the enterprise representatives and gave a detailed introduction to the school's development history, discipline construction, professional characteristics, faculty strength, and talent cultivation model. She pointed out that the school has always adhered to the orientation of social needs, focused on cultivating students' practical ability and innovative spirit, and hoped to further optimize the talent cultivation plan and deliver more high-quality applied talents to enterprises through in-depth cooperation with enterprises.

In the exchange session, enterprise representatives respectively introduced the basic situation, development plan, corporate culture, talent demand, and career development path of their respective enterprises. Chao Xiaoyang stated that the company is in a stage of rapid development and has a strong demand for talents in optoelectronic information, mechanical and electronic engineering, and other majors. He expressed the expectation to carry out all-round cooperation with the school in internship training, talent recruitment, technological research and development, and other aspects. Chen Lixi emphasized that the enterprise attaches great importance to talent reserve and cultivation, and hopes to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with the school to jointly cultivate outstanding talents who meet the development needs of the industry.
