On the afternoon of July 23, Pang Guibing, Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of Dalian University of Technology, and his team of 6 people came to our institute for exchange and research. Zhang Zhongqiang, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Cheng Guanggui, dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing, Zhang Chaoyang, professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering, and Sun Wan, secretary of the dean, were present at this meeting.

At the symposium, Zhang Zhongqiang, on behalf of the college, firstly expressed a warm welcome to Dean Pang Guibing and his delegation from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation of Dalian Polytechnic University and made a detailed introduction to the major and discipline settings, discipline and scientific research platform construction, and the key technologies and scientific research achievements of the six featured directions of the School of Mechanical Engineering from the college's general situation, directional characteristics, and achievement cases.

Pang Guibing fully affirmed the achievements made by the school and the college in recent years in discipline construction, scientific research and projects, talent training and landmark achievements, and discussed and exchanged views on teaching and scientific research, platform construction, talent training and award declaration. After the meeting, Mr. Cheng Guanggui and Mr. Zhang Chaoyang led the guests to visit the Laboratory of Laser Advanced Manufacturing and Intelligent Flexible Mechatronics Platform respectively.

In the next step, the two sides will further strengthen the contact and exchange, take this seminar as an opportunity to carry out in-depth scientific research and project exchanges, accelerate the cooperation in discipline and platform construction, and enhance the ability to serve the regional economic and social development.
