On the afternoon of June 12, the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering held a special lecture on ideological education in Room B414 of the Mechanical Engineering Building. The lecture was delivered by Pan Hongjun, the Party Secretary of the college, and was attended by all Party Committee members, Party branch secretaries, departmental leadership teams, and section-level cadres.

Pan Hongjun delivered a report titled “Firmly Grasping the Party’s Leadership over Ideological Work.” He emphasized that ideological work is extremely important for the Party, as it is essential for the nation’s core values and the soul of the nation. The effectiveness of ideological work is crucial to the Party’s future and destiny, as well as to the nation’s long-term stability. Therefore, it is imperative to firmly grasp the Party’s leadership, management, and discourse power in ideological work. He stressed that leaders at all levels should use Party discipline education as an opportunity to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and educating people, continuously strengthening their sense of responsibility and mission in ideological work, effectively fortifying the defense line of ideological work, and resolutely safeguarding the safety of the ideological domain in the college.

This special educational lecture is also one of the important components of the college’s Party member education and training. The college Party Committee will further enhance its leadership over ideological work, resolutely assume the primary responsibility for ideological work, regularly analyze and assess the college’s ideological work, promptly identify and address risk points, and solidly advance the implementation of the responsibility system for ideological work.
