On May 19, the faculty Party branch of the Instrumentation Department in the School of Mechanical Engineering organized all its teachers to visit the "Red Rural Road" in Shiye Town, Dantu District, Zhenjiang City, for a theme Party day activity titled "Study Party Discipline, Uphold the Bottom Line, Strengthen Party Spirit, and Fulfill Our Mission."

Before the visit, Comrade Liu Yuqin, the Party branch secretary, led all Party members in a thorough study of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China." She urged everyone to study, understand, and adhere to the Party discipline, and to always remain loyal, clean, and responsible. Subsequently, all Party members followed the path visited by General Secretary Xi Jinping to tour the "Red Rural Road and Rural Revitalization Road," and to remember General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest instructions. Comrade Liu Yuqin encouraged everyone, especially as university teachers, to remember the original mission of fostering virtue and cultivating talent for the country and to aspire to become great educators with a broad vision for the nation's future.

This Party Day activity was a profound spiritual baptism for all Party members of the Instrumentation Department faculty Party branch. Everyone expressed their commitment to strictly adhere to the study, understanding, and observance of Party discipline, to engrave compliance and discipline in their hearts, to maintain the original qualities of Communists, to inherit the red gene, and to drive the development of the grassroots Party branch’s role as a stronghold with a solid style of work.
