To further promote the study and education of Party discipline, on May 15th, the three faculty Party branches from the Mechanical Engineering College - the Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Department, the Smart Manufacturing Department, and the Artificial Intelligence and Smart Manufacturing College - jointly visited the Zhenjiang Local Chronicles Museum and the Maoshan New Fourth Army Memorial Hall to carry out a thematic Party day activity titled "Learning Party Discipline to Maintain Our Original Aspiration, Strengthening Party Spirit to Build the Bottom Line". Professor Cheng Guanggui, Dean of the Artificial Intelligence and Smart Manufacturing College, was invited to participate.
Before the visit, Cheng Guanggui delivered a special Party class for all Party members under the Party banner, on the topic "Learning and Effectively Utilizing the Regulations to Continuously Promote Integrity and Discipline." He emphasized the importance of accurately understanding the main points and requirements of the Regulations and effectively using Party rules and discipline to correct thoughts and actions. This process should genuinely transform Party discipline learning and education into a means of enhancing disciplinary awareness and improving Party spirit.Subsequently, all Party members visited the Zhenjiang Local Chronicles Museum, where they experienced Zhenjiang's glorious history through a wealth of precious historical materials and images, fostering their feelings of love for the Party, the country, and their hometown.
At the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall in Maoshan, Jurong, all Party members carefully observed the precious pictures and historical artifacts in the exhibition hall, gaining a detailed understanding of the heroic stories of the New Fourth Army's tenacious struggle against the Japanese invaders during the Anti-Japanese War, assisted by the people of the Maoshan old liberated area. Afterwards, the Party members visited the Monument of Victory in the South Jiangsu Anti-Japanese War, receiving onsite education in revolutionary traditions and further strengthening their Party spirit.On the return trip, the Party members systematically studied the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Disciplinary Action." The study was conducted in the form of a knowledge competition. All Party members actively participated, enthusiastically answered questions, and engaged in lively discussions and exchanges, creating a warm atmosphere and achieving good results in Party discipline learning and education.
Through this Party day activity, the Party members underwent a profound Party spirit baptism. The branch will continue to promote the deep and practical implementation of Party discipline learning and education, ensuring that the content of the Regulations is deeply ingrained in the minds of all Party members. By continuously strengthening Party spirit education and disciplinary education for all members, the branch aims to further enhance its role as a fighting fortress and contribute to the high-quality development of the college.
