On the morning of September 25, the Theory Learning Group of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering held a special study meeting on the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Room B414 of the Mechanical Building. All members of the college's Party Committee attended the meeting, with the secretary of the dean also in attendance. The meeting was chaired by Party Secretary Pan Hongjun.

At the meeting, Dean Zhang Zhongqiang conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's explanation of the "Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Comprehensive Deepening of Reforms and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization" as the first agenda item. Vice Dean Ye Yunxia and Dean Cheng Guangu of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing led the study of the same decision. Pan Hongjun and Deputy Secretary Zhang Liming made key speeches based on practical work, while other attending leaders engaged in discussions and exchanged views on the learning theme.

The meeting emphasized that the Party Committee of the college should regard studying, disseminating, and implementing the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as a major political task for the current and forthcoming period. It should guide all faculty and students to closely connect with the college's development reality, integrating the study with core work and key tasks, as well as consolidating the results of Party discipline education. With a strong sense of political responsibility and mission, the focus should be on deepening learning, continuously innovating, and striving for progress, collectively advancing the college's endeavors to new heights.
