On the morning of September 25, the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering held a summary meeting on Party discipline education in Room B414 of the Mechanical Engineering Building. All members of the college’s Party Committee, Party branch secretaries, departmental leadership teams, and section-level cadres attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Party Secretary Pan Hongjun.
The meeting conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions regarding Party discipline education as the first agenda item, as well as the relevant requirements from the Central Leading Group for Party Building Work on Party discipline education. Subsequently, Pan Hongjun delivered a summary report on the college's Party discipline education. He pointed out that since the implementation of Party discipline education, the college's Party Committee has deeply studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on Party discipline education. The committee has effectively unified thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee, meticulously organized and implemented the education, maintained strict and realistic standards, and vigorously promoted its execution. This has helped guide all faculty and student Party members to learn about, understand, clarify, and adhere to Party discipline, ensuring that the education on Party discipline is implemented at a high standard and quality, deeply ingrained in minds and hearts, and yields visible results.
The meeting emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on comprehensively strengthening Party discipline construction. It called for normalizing and institutionalizing Party discipline education and firmly integrating the consolidation of the achievements from Party discipline education with the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th Central Committee's Third Plenary Session. The focus is on continuously fostering a political ecology characterized by integrity and righteousness, and effectively guiding all faculty and students to transform their learning outcomes into a strong impetus and concrete actions for the high-quality development of the college. This will contribute to the university's goal of creating a "Double First-Class" initiative and building a distinctive high-level university.
