On the afternoon of April 10th, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a kick-off meeting for a special teaching training program for young teachers in the course group of "Engineering Graphics" in the college conference room. The training kick-off meeting was presided over by Xu Zhenying, the Vice Dean of Teaching. Dai Liling, a famous teacher from Jiangsu University, Huang Juan, the person in charge of the national first-class course "Mechanical Drawing," and 13 young teachers participated in this teaching training kick-off meeting.
This training is targeted at the Engineering Graphics course, aiming to enhance the teaching level and skills of young teachers in this field. The Engineering Graphics course at our college is a national first-class course, and its development has made significant progress. For this training, we have invited Dai Liling, a retired famous teacher from Jiangsu University, to give lectures, attracting many young teachers to actively participate. At the kick-off meeting, Dean Xu Zhenying provided detailed arrangements for the purpose and planning of the training, and put forward clear requirements for the training process and assessment.
This specialized training will last for 2 months, covering various aspects such as the analysis of the module system of Engineering Graphics, design of teaching content, explanation of key points and difficulties, writing of teaching cases, and discussion of teaching skills. The training requirements will be completed through forms such as attending classes and trial lectures. Finally, the college will organize an assessment and include the young teachers who pass the assessment in the Engineering Graphics teaching team.
The college attaches great importance to this specialized teaching training. This training will lay a solid foundation for young teachers to enter and establish themselves in teaching positions, open up a new model for continuously strengthening the training of young teachers, and further improve and enhance the teaching and research undertakings of the college.
