Recently, Stanford University in the United States and the Elsevier database released the "Top 2% Global Scientists List 2024," identifying leading  scientists globally across various disciplines. Data shows that the School of Mechanical Engineering at Jiangsu University has 12 faculty members selec-ted for the "Annual Impact" list and 6 faculty members for the "Career Im- pact" list.

The "Career Impact" list focuses on the overall influence of researchers throughout their academic careers, while the "Annual Impact" list highlights the academic achievements of researchers in the current year. These lists are based on six comprehensive indicators—citation counts, h-index, co-author-adjusted hm-index, citations of solo or first-authored papers, among others—providing an objective and truthful reflection of researchers' academic i- mpact.
