"The Third Sino-Foreign Postgraduate Forum-- Engineering Forum I" has achieved a great success in NO.1 Auditorium on the afternoon of 25th November,2013.

Held by School of Mechanical Engineering , under the support of the Office of Students' Affairs and Oversea Education College and the guidance of vice-dean LI Boquan and deputy secretary MO Jiping of School of Mechanical Engineering, this forum has got highly acknowledgment and praise by the organizers , co-organizers ,and all the participants .

With hosts’ gracious greetings and heartfelt welcomes to the distinguished guests and judges, the forum began at 15:00 under the harmonious atmosphere .To start with ,Prof. WANG Quan from School of Mechanical Engineering gave us a keynote speech---- “On-chip Integrated Acceleration, Pressure and Temperature Composite Sensors”, which deeply inspired the audience won a big round of applause.

Then , seven postgraduates from different faculties successfully shown their fully prepared PPT and reports concerning their own research subject. They are MA Qun from School of Electrical and Information Engineering ,WANG Fen from School of Energy and Power Engineering ,LIU Haihong from Institute of Agriculture Engineering , CHEN Yayun from School of Automobile and Traffic Engineering , Frank Dwomoh from Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology, LI Yan from School of Material Science and Engineering , GU Chunxing from School of Mechanical Engineering . Besides , during the interaction process, both audience and judges actively gave their honest opinions and suggestions. All the speakers got great applause from audience for their wonderful speech and outstanding research.

In addition ,there was a Poster Exhibition during the tea break time which displayed our postgraduates’ research and achievements. In the process of appreciating the posters ,communicating with the contestants and voting the “Best Poster” , the audience not only improved their oral English, and enhanced the friendships between each other.

Finally, CHEN Wei, the professor and vice-dean of School of Mechanical Engineering, respectively gave his concise and sincere comments on each postgraduates’ presentation . Thanks to the active participation and great supporting of all the organizers and co-organizers , "The Third Sino-Foreign Postgraduate Forum--Engineering Forum I" was successfully and perfectly carried out .
