On April 10th, 2016, the seminar on the first Science Fair hosted by Professor Wang Yun was held in School of Mechanical Engineering. Prof. Zhao Yuchun, overseas students Sheila, Alex, and two Chinese graduate students, Wang Jianjie etc. participated in the seminar.

At the onset of this Seminar, Professor Wang posed the reqirement for the research from the project background, innovative priciple, the project implementation process, model developing with a comprehensive and systematic interpretation. Then, Professor Zhao proposed the project recommendations on aesthetics, creativity, presentation, practicality and so on. The detail about the principle, sketch, design and fabrication also proceeded gradually. The overseas students innovation group who participated in the seminar discussed lively.

At the end of the discussion, the group communicated, and exchanged phone numbers,emails. We will make a depth discussion and preparations for the coming science fair. The Association of International Engineering Students (AIES) –Jiangsu University is holding its first edition of the Annual Science Fair on the 16th of April 2016 at Jiangsu University.

Through the seminar and the science fair, it can better demonstrate overseas students’s ability to use comprehensive knowledge and practice of innovation, stimulate their enthusiasm for innovation and potential.
