On the evening of May 31st, at 7:00pm, the School of Mechanical Engineering successfully held a lecture on “takeoff from the air, rejecting zero offer” on the seventh floor of the Machinery Building. The lecture invited senior graduate Chen Shuyang to introduce the skills and precautions for job hunting.
First of all, Chen Shixiong analyzed the overall situation of the current employment situation, pointing out that the current employment faced with the problems of “hot jobs are few, job seekers are large” and graduates are unable to stay in office for the duration of their internship. Afterwards, Chen Shixiong started to make an English resume in order to score points for interviews, how to improve his resume and face group interviews. In addition, when faced with different types of group face, he should first determine the type of case and then make a analysis. Finally, Chen Shixiong told his classmates that most job seekers would face a certain gap between reality and expectation. They hope that the students will be prepared for job hunting ahead of time in a pragmatic manner.
