On September 22-24, professor Zhenying XU from Department of Instrument Science and Engineering in School of Mechanical Engineering attended 12th International Symposium on Measurement Technology and Intelligent Instruments (ISMTII 2015) in Taipei, Taiwan, and given an oral report titled ‘A Large-size Precision Measurement Method based on Sub-FOV Calibration Splicing’.
For more than 20 years, the International Symposium on Measurement Technology and Intelligent Instruments (ISMTII) has established itself as a well renowned and prestigious event for international measurement experts. The 12th ISMTII 2015 focused on presenting scientific and engineering breakthroughs to develop the cutting edges in modern measurement technologies and intelligent instruments. The conference topics included micro and nano metrology, in-process and inline metrology, nano-scale measurement, machine vision and image processing, and so on. More than 300 participants from research institutes, universities and industrial sectors from about 20 countries attended the conference.
After the conference, the delegates visited the Taiwan University, Taipei University of Technology, Instrument Technology Research Center, and Center for Measurement Standards of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
