During Nov. 3^rd afternoon and Nov. 4^th whole day, the 7^th Zhenjiang Association For Science and Technology’s Congress was solemnly convened at Sheraton Zhenjiang Hotel. Prof. Gu Jinan and Prof. Hua Xijun of our school attended this congress.

The secretary of Jiangsu provincial Party Committee, Vice-Chairman – Chen Huijuan and the main leaders of Zhenjiang Municipal, Municipal Peoples Congress, Zhenjiang Government and Municipal Political Consultative Conference attended this congress. The secretary of Provincial Association for science and technology – Chen Huijuan and secretary of municipal Party committee – Xia Jinwen made an important speech. They also extend congratulations to the seminars and warm welcome to the experts and scholars. The 7th leading group has been elected and the advanced individual and group has been honoured after work report has presented and discussed at the meeting. After the election Prof. Gu Jinan has been reelected as a member of the the 7^th Zhenjiang Association For Science and Technology’s committee and standing committee. He has been also honoured as an advanced individual and invited to publish suggestions about how to improve the level of manufacturing intelligentize of our city during "Made in China 2025" for the column of the 7^th Zhenjiang Association For Science and Technology’s Congress at Zhenjiang Daily.

According to reports, Prof. Gu Jinan currently hold the position of the director-general of Zhenjiang Information Society of Zhenjiang Association For Science and Technology, the director-general of Zhenjiang Engineering Graphics Society and director of Zhenjiang Engineers Society. Prof. Hua Xijun currently hold the position of the vice director-general of Zhenjiang Engineering Graphics Society.
