Speaker introduction: S. Huang, an associate professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, postdoctoral in School of Materials Science and Engineering in Jiangsu University. Her research interest focused on laser surface modification and anti-fatigue manufacturing technology. She is the key member of Laser Shock Processing Technology Key Laboratory and Photon Manufacturing Science and Technology Key Laboratory of Jiangsu Province.
Lecture content: Facing foreign undergraduate student, provide science popularization of laser processing technology. The class contents including basic principle of lasers, category of lasers, structure of typical lasers and industry application of laser materials processing. Laser processing industrial applications mainly involved laser surface treatment based on light mechanical effect, while laser marking, laser cutting, laser welding technology, etc. based on the thermal effect.
