Recently, more and more overseas students have enrolled to School of Mechanical Engineering. From last summer semester, the first overseas class has been started. In order to further strengthen our teaching quality and management, a practice and teaching seminar for overseas students of mechanical engineering was held in our school on the afternoon of February 29, 2016. Vice dean Cui Yong of Overseas College, vice director Xue Hongli of dean’s office, Dean Ren Naifei of School of Mechanical Engineering, vice dean Chen Wei, vice director Zhou Lian of Industrial Center and vice plant manager Ma Weimin of Electromechanical Main Workshop who offer practice courses for overseas students and some teachers for overseas students attended this seminar.

In this seminar, two young teachers, Yang Zhixian and Guo Yuan, gave trial teaching on their courses. All the teaching experts offered beneficial suggestions to these two young teachers. Then a heated discussion was carried on about how to improve cultivation quality and teaching skills for overseas students.
