As one of the sources of Nanchang Uprising, the place where the Lushan Conferences of Chinese Communist Party (CPC) central committee held, Lushan is famous for its unique communist political culture. All the members of Optoelectronic Department from Mechanical Engineering School went to Lushan to implement the Party Day activity.

Many historical events happened in or had close relations with Lushan, Nanchang Uprising, realization of the second Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, the eighth Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committee of CPC, the central work conference, the second Plenary Session of the 9th Central Committee of CPC, to name a few. Besides, there are many historical relics from predecessors of proletarian revolutionist, all of which became patriotism education base.

We visited many historical sites during the two-day travel. From the visiting, we had a systematic understanding of the great political events happened in Lushan and better understanding of the leading role Chinese Communist Party played in building the socialist society. We learnt a lot from the Party Day activity. In the journey of building a well-off society in an all-round way, we should inherit the revolutionary tradition of Lushan, adhere to our faith, and be brave in exploration. It’s a good way to carry out the “studies on the theoretical and practical issues of party buildings”. We will always follow the examples of the predecessors of proletarian revolutionist, adhere to political discipline, strengthen aim idea, and set role models of party members in both teaching and social service.
