On 17th June,the dean of the science school of the Canada Luo Lier University- Dr. Paul Jessop、the director of the international service office of the Luo Lier University、professor Hongbing Fan and professor Zongsen WU of this university came to our university for international cooperation and communication.Huixi Xu, vice president of our university , met with guests at the conference center,with the leaders from the international office、the Mechanical Engineering School、the Computer School、the Jingjiang School present.

In the morning,at the first lecture hall of the university conference centre,Dr Paul Jessop and professor Hongbing Fan committed academic reports seperatedly to our teachers and students with the name of Silicon-based Photonic Integrated Circuits and WLU photonics and Reconfigurable computing and WLU computer program.After the academic report,Dr Peter Donahue introduced the conditions of the Luo Lier University to the teachers and students.The meeting was chaired by the dean of the Mechanical Engineering School-Professor Yongkang Zhang

In the afternoon,our university had a meeting with the delegation of the Canada Luo Lier University about deepering the cooperative education.Two sides consulted friendly on such items:extending the major to the Photoelectric and computer major、extending the fields of cooperative education from Mechanical Engineering School to other departments、and so on.We also had renewaled the protocol about exchanging students between the universities of the photoelectricity major
