On the afternoon of December 7th, the School of Mechanical Engineering successfully held an open literacy class and "My Youth Story Report" in the lecture hall group 102. This event invited three outstanding seniors to share their university youth stories. The activity was hosted by the freshman counselor Yu Weijie, and all freshmen attended this report.

At the beginning of the activity, the host introduced the wonderful resumes of the three seniors and the purpose of the activity. Subsequently, the three senior elder sisters introduced their university experience from different aspects based on their own youth stories. Senior Sister Liang Jiaxue gave a detailed explanation for the younger students in terms of academic planning, student work, and postgraduate entrance examinations. It is recommended that the freshmen try to plan the university life scientifically using time modularization and event hierarchical methods. Next, senior Xu Guoqiang encouraged freshmen to plan their studies, set goals and learn professional skills as early as possible in terms of employment and scientific research experience. In the end, Senior Zhou Tong shared his experience in class management and course learning, emphasizing the importance of "learning ability" and urging the freshmen to cultivate innovative consciousness and thinking as soon as possible. Finally, the students present here asked questions about their points of interest, and the atmosphere was lively.

The holding of this event established a communication platform for freshmen and outstanding seniors, allowing students to get a closer look at the postgraduate entrance examinations and scientific research competitions, so that freshmen can quickly integrate into university life and be more clear about what they are pursuing in university life aims.
