On August 29th, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a new semester student work meeting in the B414 conference room of the Mechanical Building. The meeting was hosted by Zhang Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and attended by all full-time counselors of the College.

At the meeting, Zhang Liming combined the latest notice of the school's new semester student work arrangement, for the old students back to school, the reception of new students, and new student enrollment education for specific work deployment. During this period, the counselors combined their actual work situation and, in turn, sorted out and reported the summer student work situation and the new semester's student work plan, mainly including the construction of the academic style, some students' mental health education and guidance, students' innovation and entrepreneurship education, 2024 students' examination for graduate school, 2023 and 2024 students' employment work and other aspects. Then Zhang Liming led all counselors in a special study and discussion on student talk skills.

Finally, Zhang Liming emphasized that after students return to school in the new semester, counselors of all grades should seriously do a good job in student academic guidance, mental health education, ideology, etc., and should effectively fulfill their work responsibilities, do a good job, continue to strengthen the management of students' daily work, and constantly improve the quality of education, and cohesion and promote the development of the college.
