On September 10, Zhang wenzhong, deputy director of the security department, gave a lecture on safety education for all freshmen of the class of 2018. The lecture was hosted by pan hongjun, deputy secretary of the party committee of the mechanical college.

Combining his own work experience, director zhang vividly demonstrated the importance of campus safety by enumerating a large number of real cases and video from six aspects, including political safety, network safety, personal safety, property safety, fire safety and traffic safety.At the same time, the development of telecom fraud cases, the common means of fraud and fraud skills are explained in detail.He pointed out that due to the relatively independent economy and lack of social experience, college students are vulnerable to the infringement of lawbreakers. He hoped that students could establish the awareness of "anti-theft, anti-fraud, anti-pyramid selling and anti-campus loan", master the basic knowledge of safety prevention and stay away from illegal infringement and safety accidents.
