Professor Wu Xuan of Our School Participated in the 5th World Green Energy International Academic Conference and made a Special Oral Report of the Conference
From June 14th, 2018 to June 16th, 2018, the "5th World Congress and Expo on Green Energy" was held in London, England. At the invitation of Prof. Aidan Smith, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the General Assembly, Professor Wu Xuan of our institute was invited to the UK to participate in this international academic conference.
During the meeting, as the keynote speaker of the conference, Professor Wu Xuan represented the Jiangsu University as the keynote presentation (Keynote Presentation, 35 minutes), and the report titled "Development of Miniaturized Renewable Energy Harvesting Technology for Next-generation Self-powered Electronic Systems "Introduction to the history of Jiangsu University and Mechanical Engineering Institute to experts and scholars from all over the world, and a detailed introduction of a new green energy harvesting technology that converts environmental vibration energy into electrical energy over a wide frequency range. Powering sensors and other electronic devices to realize self-powered intelligent Internet of Things and advanced sensing technologies has important academic significance and broad application prospects in the new-generation information technology industry. The report received the attention and praise of the participating experts and scholars. Many scholars from Johns Hopkins University, Tsinghua University, Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), Hong Kong Polytechnic University, etc. expressed strong interest and after the meeting. Conducted relevant discussions and exchanges and reached a friendly cooperation and exchange intention.
Through this visit, Professor Wu Xuan of our institute, on behalf of Jiangsu University as the key spokesperson, made an oral report on the main theme of the conference, and introduced the latest research results of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University in this field, which helps to improve the field of green energy in Jiangsu University. The international reputation of the company; at the same time, it has received relevant academic reports, obtained world-leading research results and development information in the field, and established friendly relations with experts and scholars from all over the world, which can promote our hospital's advanced technology in green energy. The forward-looking study successfully completed the expected task of visiting.
