Prof. Yang Jing of Xi'an Jiaotong University invited to our school to give lectures

On April 24th, at the invitation of the School of Mechanical Engineering of our school, Prof. Yang Jing of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Xi’an Jiaotong University gave a lecture entitled “Multi-Scale Structure Design of Metal Protective Coatings” in the lecture hall of the seventh floor of the School of Mechanical Engineering. . Prof. Yang Jun introduced in detail the research of metallurgy and ceramic materials at room temperature deformation metallurgy combined with high-performance coating preparation technology. Aiming at the problems of limited substrate, high energy consumption and long process in the preparation of coating, a new method of low-temperature preparation of nano metal/ceramic coating by vacuum cold spraying (low to room temperature) was proposed, and the interface of nanoparticles was realized. Temperature/pressure synergistically enhanced the performance of the nano-porous TiO2 coating at room temperature comparable to that of a conventional ~500oC high temperature calcined coating. It was found that scale micro- and nano-scale pores have synergistic effects on the in-hole mass transfer performance. Finally, the low-temperature bonding of the coating material is realized, and a metallurgical combination high-performance coating preparation technology is formed. This technology can be applied to coating technology fields such as electrical, electronic, and new energy that require materials to be reliably connected at room temperature or below 0.1-0.2 Tm.
