Guifang Sun was invited to cooperate with professor Mazumder in CLAIM (Center for Laser-Aided Intelligent Manufacturing) of University of Michigan as a research fellow. She started the journey from April 19th 2010. She joined one Army project of professor Mazumder’s and her research focused on the laser aided direct metal deposition. Guifang Sun has spent more than one year in University of Michigan during her Ph.D candidate life as a visiting scholar.
